Who’s ready for an exciting new pickleball team event?
Warren Pickleball is hosting its first MLP Team format event on Saturday, September 13 at Betts Park in Warren, PA.
The “RUMBLE ON THE RIVER” MLP (Major League Pickleball) Team format event will be comprised of regional pickleball teams battling it out for bragging rights!
Choose your team. Choose your captain. Choose your team’s name. Choose your team’s color.

MLP TEAM FORMAT
- This MLP TEAM format event requires each team to consist of two male and two female players, with one player identified as the team captain.
- Players skill level should range from 3.5 to 4.0. This is a COMPETITIVE team event. The team captain is responsible for putting together their respective team with a skill level as indicated above.
- The MLP Team format event will be comprised of eight teams, split into two brackets.
- Each round will consist of a minimum of four games. One Men’s doubles, One Women’s doubles, and two Mixed doubles. If the W/L record after the first four games is tied at two and two, a fifth game or a “dreambreaker” game would be played.
- A complete list of the MLP Team format and rules will be emailed to each team captain prior to the event.
Medals will be awarded to the top three teams.
PLAYER REGISTRATION
ALL Team captains who plan to field a team, MUST reach out to Warren Pickleball (Kim Mong @ 484-719-9801) within a few days after they themselves register, or email: warrenpickleball@gmail.com

Cost
- $35 per person
- EVERYONE is required to register and pay online.
- All four members of your team must be fully paid and registered by the deadline.
Ball
Franklin X-40 ball (yellow) will be used for all divisions. WP INC will provide brand-new balls to be used for the shootout.
Bathrooms
Restrooms and drinking fountains are available on-site.
Food / Drink
Snacks and drinks will be provided for registered players.
