**PLEASE REGISTER AND PAY FOR YOURSELF ONLY.  DO NOT SIGN IN AS SOMEONE ELSE, USING THEIR ACCOUNT AND PAY FOR THEM.   THERE IS A LIABILITY WAIVER THAT EACH RESGISTERED PLAYER MUST READ AND CHECK THE BOX BEFORE PAYING.  THIS STEP IS NOT TO BE DONE ON SOMEONE ELSE'S BEHALF. **

MLP TEAM FORMAT

       
  • This MLP TEAM event requires each team to consist of two male and two female players, with one player identified as the team captain.  
  • Players skill level should range from 3.5+ up 4.0.   This is a COMPETITIVE team event.  The team captain is responsible for putting together their respective team with a skill level as indicated above.
  • The MLP Team event will be comprised of eight teams, split into two brackets.
  • Each round will consist of a minimum of four games.  One Men’s doubles, One Women’s doubles, and two Mixed doubles.  If the W/L record after the first four games is tied at two and two, a fifth game or a “tiebreaker” game would be played. 


  • A complete list of the MLP Team format and rules will be announced prior to the start of the event on that day.
  • WPOA reserves the rights to combine and/or cancel divisions based on registration numbers.

Medals will be awarded to the top three teams.


PLAYER REGISTRATION 

ALL Team captains who plan to field a team, MUST reach out to Warren Pickleball (Kim Mong @ 484-719-9801) within a few days after they themselves register, along with their respective male or female partner.  

Please note, this software does not have the capabilities of  “four player” team signups, therefore, the women and men players who will make up a team of four, will register either as men’s or women’s team, and will combined as indicated by the Team Captain for the MLP TEAM event.



Time

Division play will start at 9:00 AM. 
Check-in begins one half hour before your division play starts.


Cost

  • $25 per person
  • EVERYONE is required to register and pay online. 
  • All four members of your team must be fully paid and registered by the deadline.

Ball

Franklin X-40 ball (yellow) will be used for all divisions. WP INC will provide brand-new balls to be used for the shootout.

Bathrooms

Restrooms and drinking fountains are available on-site.

Food / Drink

Snacks and drinks will be provided for registered players.
